community of Oceanside, with great Ocean Views from the living room,
the master bedrooms, and the rooftop deck+Ocean Breezes!
Only 50 yards to the sand! Just across the street from this
gorgeous house! This house boasts two large Master Suites, each with
ocean views, king beds and private baths. The main master suite has
a huge bathtub for
relaxing after a hard day at play! It also has a large separate
shower.
Enjoy your morning coffee, evening cocktails, BBQ, or a book on the
spacious roof top deck looking out to the Pacific Ocean; or from
your master bedroom with a great view of the pier to the north, or
straight out to the blue ocean. Just relax, take a swim or take a
stroll on the beach to the strand in Oceanside, only 3 blocks. Great
for a couple get-away, an extended family beach vacation, a group
golf trip or a visit to enjoy the close by attractions and parks.
Some close golf courses include: minutes to Encinitas Ranch or La
Costa Resort and Spa golf courses! Only 10 minutes to Legoland!
About 45 minutes to Downtown San Diego, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, 30
minutes to the Wild Animal Park, Disneyland only about a one hour
drive. Great central location to all of San Diego and Orange County!

The gateway to San Diego, Oceanside is the classic California beach
community with its warm sandy beaches, historic wooden pier and Cape
Cod-style harbor village complete with unlimited water sports and
recreation. Offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle,
visitors still experience the casual spirit that made Southern
California’s beach culture legendary .
With its year round sunny climate, and average temperature of 70
degrees, Oceanside's weather has been rated by USA Today as the
second most ideal climate in the United States, and the fifth most
ideal weather in the world.
The beach area south of the Oceanside Pier is Oceanside's most
popular beach. Surfing, body boarding and body surfing contests are
held at the Oceanside Pier throughout the summer. There are also
various events that are held in the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater. The
pier itself is a beautiful walk and a popular fishing spot as well.
Due to the number of beachgoers in this area, there are two
lifeguard towers relatively close together. Lifeguard Tower 1 sits
directly south of the pier and Tower 3 sits approximately 300 feet
south of Tower 1.
During the summer months, the area from Tower 1 south is closed to
surfing most of the day. The area will be marked with a black ball
flag as well as swim-surf signs and black-and-white checkered flags
that indicate the boundaries. The surfing area is from Lifeguard
Tower 1 to 100 feet from the pier and is closed to all other water
activities. No water activity is allowed within 100 feet of the
pier. It is easy to determine the 100-foot line by looking to the
shore and locating two black and yellow signs. The 100-foot rule is
a safety precaution and is a strictly enforced City ordinance.
Facilities : the pier area has a lot to offer. Covered picnic
tables, benches and barbecues, as well as some fire rings on the
sand. Restrooms and showers are provided. A McDonald's stand and
other vending stands are also located under the pier. The pier
itself offers fishing, a bait shop, payphones and restrooms. At the
end of the pier is the 50's diner, Ruby's. There are several beaches

My brothers and I with our families and our mother have vacationed
together for several years now. Every year we think it may be the
last year we can make it happen, but I'm glad to say that we
recently completed another week all together.
We wanted to go somewhere new as we usually have just rotated among
our homes, and it was decided that a beach home would be ideal. It
was difficult to find a place that would accommodate 14 people which
was not too extravagant. This place fit our needs and wants well. It
had a large living area where we could all be together at meals and
yet had a rooftop, balconies, and bedrooms if we needed some time
away room the whole group. It was also great to be close to the
beach. We had a sand beach just around the corner! Other public
beaches were nearby. The house had been nicely set up for us, and we
immediately felt right at home. We spent some time on the beach
every day and also made a couple of day trips to San Diego and
surrounding places. There is a lot to do in the area. Among our
favorite things were the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Birch Aquarium,
and the San Luis Mission. Parking was also a concern, but most
families would not have four cars to contend with. I found the
rental price to be comparable to others there. All in all, we had a
wonderful week--just wish we'd been able to stay a few more days!"A

Chris was so very helpful right from the start. I had never rented a
beach house, especially one across the country. But Chris answered
every question and made the experience enjoyable. The house was
perfect! We had 6 adults, one infant and one small dog. We all had
plenty of space and all the windows made it very open and bright. It
was a real treat being there. We were just across the street from
the ocean and spent lots of time on our roof-top balcony. The
sunsets were beautiful. Having the washer and dryer was very

We had a wonderful time at this comfortable beach home in Oceanside.
This is the second time we're used this home. We had such a great
experience last year that we all wanted to return. Our married kids
came in from other states and we gathered for a week at this clean,
fully-equipped home that met our needs very well. The location is
great since it is in between la and San Diego so that we could
attend a Dodgers baseball game and a Padres game as well as other
activities. We spent as much time at the beach as possible. Even
though the time of year was a little early, the water was warm
enough and the wet suits provided by the beach house really helped.
The beach was so fun for everyone of all ages from two years old on
up. The home was clean and provided every extra we needed in the
kitchen, with the electronics, Wi-Fi and more. Chris Sprangers did a
wonderful job both years helping us with the payment process and
scheduling and verification. I would recommend his services to
anyone who is interested in a well-managed rental house experience.

Our family had a wonderful time at the house. It was perfect for
visiting. You may laugh but our 13 year old granddaughter opted to
sleep on the blow up mattress in the walk in closet in the master
bedroom. It gave her some privacy from her brother and two boy
cousins. The two youngest grandsons used the wet suits and boogie
boards and loved it. We used the house as a base of operations to go
to the beach, shopping, to Disneyland and to the San Diego Zoo.
Everyone loved it! Thanks so much for your help! We appreciated how
gracious the owners were. The kids were better than we expected
about respecting the furniture, carpets and everything else and
being careful. I think maybe they are growing up. JP

family reunion for my son's wedding (at another rental across the
street) at this great beach house! It is roomy, functional, and well
laid out for a family and the location on So. Pacific was much
better than we hoped for. We'll remember this week the rest of our
lives and would definitely seek to rent another vacation rental from
Chris!

layout of this house was perfect. We traveled with our children and
grandsons. We all had plenty of space plus the arrangements of the
bedrooms is great. We loved the large counter in the kitchen and
used it for all of our meals. The kitchen is furnished with anything
you could ever need and more. It was clean and very comfortable, We
walked to the pier; the kids fished, caught a glo stick. The
nieghborhood is nice and was quiet at night. The suDansets are
spectacular from the roof deck. We were very close to all the
attractions near San Diego and the drive was not bad to head to
Disneyland and Universal. We had a great trip and when we vacation
in Calif. again we will definitely choose this this house!

We found plenty of beach and water toys, beach chairs and a nice
wagon to haul it all in. Most of the family used the WiFi and the
home was actually nicer than we had anticipated. We boogey-boarded
to our heart's desire and all enjoyed it so!

Seven of us (adults) stayed at this house for an
organized bike ride for an upcoming charity event. The house was
very nice and extremely functional. It
was clean, well maintained and steps from the beach. Everyone loved
the house and we are talking about
making this an annual trip!

We were so pleased with the beach house. The layout was very
functional with the bedrooms all upstairs. Sleeping babies were not
disturbed by the noise downstairs. We have found it is much more fun
to rent a house or condo when our family travels together. The costs
was much better than renting four or five hotel rooms. Lots of
advantages such as a full kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. We have
rented before in this area and this is our absolute favorite! Thank
you Sanders family for sharing your house! Hope to be back again

Our family spent Thanksgiving here. This house is amazing & had
everything we possibly needed from wetsuits, boogie boards, all
cooking pots, pans, utensils, spices etc. Our kids loved the DVD's &
Xbox. Walking distance to beach & to the pier. Balcony was our
favorite with the amazing views and beautiful sunsets. We ate dinner
up there while the sun was setting. It was roomy enough for all of
us to get along and do our own things if we wanted. It was beautiful
inside and out. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!
